This cardigan sweater is sure to be a wardrobe staple for years to come. Knit in our DK Weight Yarn, the sweater is worked flat, from the bottom up, starting with 2 x 2 ribbing,followed by a simple cable pattern, then the main stitch pattern. The neckline and shoulders are shaped using decreases and Wrap & Turn Short Rows. The shoulders are joined using the 3-Needle Bind Off, and the sleeves are picked up at the armhole edge. The ribbed neckband is worked from picked up stitches around the neckline, in 2 x 2 ribbing, with buttonholes. To finish, buttons are sewn onto neckband.
