In Scotland, there's a way of life called coorie that celebrates creating warmth, comfort, and coziness around you. This scarf does just that. Inspired by Scott Hanratty's design for weaving, Amy Swanson wanted knitters to have a plaid scarf to make, too.
We wove this bit of coorie in our 2-ply camel yarn. Considered the 'other luxury fiber', camel is a fine, soft, and hollow fiber - just like cashmere but with a bit more halo and a wee bit of tooth. Camel is warm yet regulates with your body temperature.
