Color-block Woven Pillow Covers in June Cashmere yarn

If you thought you'd rather wear your cashmere, think again. We wondered that too until we experienced these pillows. They are to die for - so incredibly soft and comfortable next to your skin and the perfect addition to your living room or bedroom decor.

Our newest weaving pattern by Scott Hanratty offers color-block woven pillow fronts woven in our 2-ply coned cashmere in undyed, unbleached natural color, which is a blend of all the colors coming off the goats. The spinning oils are still in the coned yarn to enable the yarn to withstand the tension needed for warping. Each 100g cone offers approximately 800 yards of cashmere. Our Fingering weight cashmere yarn makes up the pillow colors in the weft. 

Kit makes 2 pillow fronts for 18 x 18 size pillows plus enough additional fabric for a smaller pillow front (ours was 18 x 16). We used the natural color linen to create pillow backs and 18x18" feather pillow inserts. Note: Fabric for pillow backs and pillow inserts are not included in kit.

This kit could be used instead to yield an exquisite cashmere scarf.

Kit includes: 

• 2 cones of our coned cashmere
